I was asked to make a pen for a co-worker. We sat down and talked about what he was looking for. We discussed styles and came up with this really unique combination.
This pen is in a “Steampunk” style with Spalted Tamarind. The grain in the wood really accents the features in the pen. This is the first time I worked with both of these materials. I am very pleased with how they turned out. The recipient was blown away how good the pen looked. He was just as impressed with how well it writes, and is sure to use it every day.
